Awesome

I had Professor Doherty for her online Art History course. She really pushes the class to dive into the artwork. She sends lots of reminders out about work that is due so you have not excuse if you can not keep up. She makes you write and analyze the artwork in detail, down to the brush stroke technique that the artist originally used. She definitely challenges you to think outside of preconceived topics (like solely pieces of art and dates and a vision of the larger body of work for a particular artist.)
