Professor Alvarado Accounting can be interesting if you want to make sense of the world. Alvarado is clear in her lectures. You get tested on the fundamentals you will need

Professor Alvarado is incredibly passionate about the subject and is a former auditor with plenty of stories and experiences to share. There is more to accounting than just numbers. There is one research paper and four tests (half MC and essay type, so be sure to read!)), curved grading. It isn't required but there is a lot of reading/online homework. She also offers lots of extra credit.

I enjoyed Professor Alvarado's class. She's always very helpful and wanted her students to succeed. She encourages tutoring and meetings with her, for you to improve your grades. Unlike memorizing everything, she actually wants you to learn the course.
