The material can conceptually challenging and Prof. Magallanes doesn't always explain it properly during lectures. I would suggest going to her during office hours though. She really cares about her students and she wants to work with them. You'll do fine as long as you show up in class. SHOW UP IN CLASS.

I don't think this course was meant to be difficult. However, Professor Magallanes' poor teaching is what made it hard. It makes the material much harder to understand, even if it was a simple concept. I learned mainly from homework because her lectures always confused me more than before. Unfortunately, the average for the final was in the 60s.

Professor Magallanes is literally one of the worst professors that I've ever had. She doesn't teach at all. Most of her exams and homework are barely readable because of her poor English. Also, it seems that she has no problem with most of the class making between 20 to 40 on quizzes. The average for our final exam was in the 60s. It's clear that she has no problem with failing students.

Doctor Hernandez is a very sweet lady. However, she's not a very good teacher. She makes those really simple ideas into a very complex one which is difficult to follow during the class. Honestly, I went to almost all of her office hours and it still didn't help. I would recommend you to get a tutor for this class.

Professor Magallanes is respectful, polite, and caring. However, she seems to have a hard time explaining the topics in a way that the student will understand. Sometimes. she finds ways to make easy topics seem very difficult. I had a B because it wasn't taught very well even if the class is not hard.

Professor Magallanes wasn't a bad. She knew what she was doing. She just tended to spend a lot of time explaining simple things that wasted time. I found it difficult to learn from the lectures. Instead, learned from the homework problems and online practice. If you have taken statistics before, then the class will not be difficult. If not, then try to find a friend to study with.

Professor Magallanes is a sweet lady, but not the best at teaching. When she tries to explain a concept, she becomes confused. Also, she tends to over-explain concepts, which ends up confusing me even more.
