I'm going to begin by saying I was just terrible at math, it really was my worst enemy. Professor Schwesky changed all of that for me. He really is a natural-born teacher. Super patient and good at explaining the material that's being taught in class. I'd really take him for any math course.

Professor Schwesky is one of, or if not, the best math professor at Pierce College. I had him for calculus 3 and he was extremely easygoing. He's also generous with grading and exams. Exams were basically homework and lecture questions. So if you pay attention and do the homework, having an A is easy.

Professor Schwesky is a great, very nice and funny guy. He's extremely straightforward and makes sure all his students understand before moving on with the next topic. The only thing that's graded in his class are a couple of quizzes and tests. Also, he gives you a review sheet before the test to study and that is exactly what's going to be on the exams. He's by far the best trigonometry teacher at Pierce College.

Prof. Howie is amazing if you're nervous about taking MATH 227. He's very caring and he tells good stories to keep the class engaging. I would recommend taking him. He cares a lot about his students and he rarely gives outside work.

If you're wondering that taking a five unit math class during a winter or summer semester is not a good idea, considering the workload, for God's sake take it under Professor Schwesky. You're not going to regret it. There are only four to five exams based on homework that he assigns and a final exam. The class is extremely easy to pass.

Prof. Howie is the best! He makes everything easy and understandable! Grades come from the exams and HW. He's very straightforward and caring! If you have concerns, you just have to talk to him. Really love him!

I'm taking Professor Schwesky currently for the spring, and I love it. During the pandemic, he has been great. If you are not that good with math no need to worry he will help you and I'm pretty good with math so this class is just a relaxed one. Also, he doesn't collet homework. And if he gives you one and does it, it will help you for exams. His grades will be based on exams only.

Professor Schwesky is the greatest of all time. There's no busy work, no compulsory attendance, no stress. You learn and ask questions and he helps you with a smile. Also, his exams were easy and reflected his homework or review. He's easy but not a pushover. I suggest you take his class. Overall, he's the best professor at Pierce College.
