Dr. Thakar appeared to be very enthusiastic and well informed on the subject. However, extreme expectations and ridiculous, vague guidelines made for an impossible A. I could not pass.

This professor Heather is one of the worst I've ever had the misfortune to have as a teacher. She makes the assignments extremely difficult. She has no practical experience although she claims to come from Australia. For something worth 3 points you're expected to do 4+ hours of work. Death by Anthropology! Beware of her grading process. She does not have any kind of system to arrive at a reasonable score. She will dock your grade if you meet the requirements but don't "exceed expectations." The worst part is she is very rude to students. I would not recommend. She claims to have worked on the acoustics for the Sydney Opera House but I do not believe her. She has trouble getting from Lake View across town to Boynton.

While the class would have been difficult to take on it's own, Professor Thakar made it twice as difficult and confusing. She always encouraged us to ask for any help that we needed, but as soon as we did she became condescending and left us more confused than we had been before. I might have enjoyed the subject and the text if it had been anybody else teaching me.
