Professor Falks was an okay teacher. I feel like there are better teachers to learn public speaking from. Make sure you come to every class because participation is a major part of your grade. The class gets better as the semester goes on.

    and honor both our individuality and our shared humanity.\n\nStage Write is a project through which Richmond City High School and Middle School students will have the opportunity to write and perform stories that are relevant to their lives and the issues they face. The goal is to help them build the confidence they need to become productive members of the adult world. Through performing arts training

    we will improve life skills needed in today’s workforce: speaking and standing with confidence

    and an ability to articulate these things. We will also develop workforce readiness skills through contextualized learning

    Stage Write strengthens verbal and non-verbal communication techniques

    and overall oral presentation.\n\nStage Write is led by professional theatre artists versed in the creation of original curriculum

    and ensemble training. Students will work with professionals to create a visual landscape inspired by themes explored in class and in their community. Original artwork

    and video techniques will all be incorporated as scenery for their final production.

    Acting Instructor for Stages Outreach Program:\nSPARC’s acclaimed STAGES program provides community-based performing arts training to 2nd and 3rd grade students in Richmond City and Henrico County Public Schools
