Educator Preparation Program (EPP) faculty at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Responsible for supervising and managing twenty teaching specialists and 300+ students in 12+ San Antonio area school districts. Other responsibilities include project management, developing and maintaining relationships and programs with districts, recruiting new students, monitoring TEA compliance for teacher certification, communication between the Educator Preparation Program and the College of Education faculty for curriculum alignment, organizing professional development for preservice teachers, interviewing program candidates, providing remediation opportunities for students at risk, maintaining the EPP webpage, administrator and manager "Quick Base" database for the EPP and promoting community involvement. In addition, serve on several committees including Senior Advisory Board and Northeast ISD Steering Committee. Have taught a large variety of EDED classes at Texas A&M- San Antonio. Experience teaching classes face-to-face, hybrid and online. Professor and supervisor for Model for Success Initiative (MSI) cohort program. Currently working on research regarding supervisor effectiveness and self-efficacy of preservice teachers, and the efficacy and employment opportunities for recent graduates comparing two models of field residency.

Seasonal: Provide technical support and training for Best Ring Point of Sale system. Train staff at large festivals on the use of the application based, mobile POS; troubleshoot problems and questions in fast-paced, high-energy and stressful environments.

Formerly: Director engaged in marketing, networking, event planning, data collection, creation of training materials, employee hiring/management, creation and delivery of continuing education units for social workers, case managers and nurses. Interested in connecting with individuals who work with or have regular contact with senior citizens.
