I took Professor Hihara's Accounting 1 as a hybrid class. He didn't make attendance mandatory, but if you want to pass it basically is. He interacts with students as he's lecturing which made for a pretty interesting and engaging class. Super caring teacher.

Prof. Hihara is a chill kind of prof, but he was pretty interesting. He explains the material very well, but you will really have to work for your grade. We had online hw assignment for each chapter with 10 questions each. We also had two exams for every 2 chapters and a comprehensive final. We didn't have a midterm tho. He keeps you on track by asking questions.
