I have more than 30 years of newswriting experience, and have worked on both the reporting desk and the editing desk. I was managing editor of the Atchison (Ks) Daily Globe from 1986 to 1988, leading the newspaper to a sweepstakes award among smaller newspapers in the Kansas Press Association in 1988.

Specialties: My specialties include covering energy, emerging technologies, advanced materials, economics, and agricultural news.
