Professor Griffin teaches using a truly didactic method. You learn mathematics as a logical sequence. All homework is graded as a single grade and there are 4 tests and a final.

Prof. Griffin is the best math teacher I've ever had. He's very passionate about teaching and he really wants you to succeed in more difficult math courses with a solid foundation in Algebra. He has his own set of definitions and notes and an entire set of YouTube videos for additional notes.

I took the flipped Algebra class with Professor Griffin and it really was one the best decisions I've made. I did have to be responsible however, but it was certainly worth it. Make sure to choose him!

Professor Griffin is great. There is no homework in his class, but there is a list of questions to ask after each unit. Also, he will post lecture notes so you can fill them out during class. There are four tests and one final. The tests are quite long but not that difficult. Just be sure to do the previous papers and go to his office hours. He also gives partial credit on the tests.

Professor Griffin learns every name and responds to emails very quickly. His class doesn't require textbooks. However, his exams were very hard so you'll need to study. Don't put off a single lesson, or you can't move forward. The quizzes were every day too. Because of this, I lost so much sleep. I suggest you avoid this class.
