Kennell, Ph.D., P.Eng.
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
I teach university level engineering classes and consult on various research and industrial engineering projects. My background covers metallurgy, including corrosion (mitigation, material selection, and cathodic protection), lithium ion batteries, microbial fuel cells, numerical modelling, and extractive metallurgy/mineral processing (electrostatic separation of potash). I have conducted several consulting projects for industry pertaining to unusual corrosion and I have determined strategies to mitigate the corrosion of potable water systems, distribution networks, potash storage structures, and a reinforced concrete bridge. I have also been the SHAD Saskatchewan Program Director for a few years.
