Awful

Prof. Nagel is terrible. She simply reads off notes she found and goes through it in class while working through problems, while sometimes writing out the problem or even just writing the problem and answer. She also doesn't give review guides. Know the crap when the test comes and you will really have to study on your own. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Awesome

Prof. Nagel is totally one of the most helpful professors at SIUE. She always radiates a positive energy. She's also very helpful to students who struggle with her class. However, do not expect her sympathy if you are planning on missing class or not paying attention.

Poor

The material under the class of Professor Nagel is not that difficult. I think attending the class is a big help. There are times that she will go fast through lectures. Do not wait until the last minute for your online homework to be done. It's a lot. The tests were weighted but most of the questions can be found on the notes. However, there were also times that questions were harder than the notes.

Good

Professor Nagel is very good. She'll always take questions into consideration and admit that she makes mistakes. If a student doesn't understand something, she'll help.
