  I'm currently both an Instructor of English at Lamar University and the Director of Finances for the College of Arts and Sciences at Lamar University. Over the years

  I've enjoyed many positions on various committees within the Department of English and Modern Languages

  participated in the planning and directing of multiple conferences and events for the Department of English and Modern Languages

  attended conferences to present on personal research

  and worked cross-discipline to develop courses and curricula to better suit the needs of students.
