I can't even express how much I love GG! His class is very organized, as long as you read his notes and go to the SI, you will get an A. He genuinely cares for his students and is always available after class. Plus the exams are not tricky.

He is, without a doubt, the best ochem professor in the world. He is not only more approachable than the other professors, but he is also the most caring. He conducts reviews shortly before the tests, in which he discusses what might be on the test and how simple the test will be. Visiting SI will also help in practice. His analogies are the best part of his lectures.

I love Professor Gopalakrishnan. I took his class for both Chemistry 227 and 228. He gave great analogies for difficult organic chemistry concepts, to help people remember and understand. He has a great package of notes that you can buy at the bookstore. There's no textbook needed in his class. Also, his exams were uncomplicated, and has medium levels of difficulty. He loves helping students during office hours as well. I absolutely recommend this professor.
