Prof. Francine is a great teacher! I'm actually taking another class with her this sem. You cannot skip class and expect to do well. Her lectures are pretty interesting and she's very willing to clarify things if needed. I suggest you really participate, read the material, and take notes! She actively teaches instead of reading off slides. She's very understanding and she really wants you to learn.
