I took her class in the Fall of 2017. Fantastic lectures. They were very engaging and enjoyable. There are weekly reading notes that were tough and time consuming. The tests are ridiculously hard. But she has us play a few Kahoot! games throughout the semester which are fun.

Professor Stephen's exam are very hard but if you review the lecture you will have a solid B. She also cares about her students. You must go to her lecture. Her papers are graded tougher than an English professor.

I had Early US History with Prof Stephens and enjoyed it so much that I signed up for the next class, the one specifically taught by him. The quizzes were easy and the essay was broken into parts which really helped simplify it. The tests are quite difficult though, at least they were for me. You will need to study for a lot longer than you think you do.

Prof. Stephens clearly knows his stuff. The one thing I didn't like was a major group assignment, but even that was good because she communicated consistently and clearly. Her lectures are a little quick, so I had to get used to it. Tests can be difficult!
