• I run with dogs currently living in PAWS shelters to increase physical activity while decreasing stress. It also exposes dogs to life outside of their cage and allows the public to see the types of wonderful dogs that are still searching for their \"furever\" home.

  STEMPREP is a summer internship program designed by Distance Learning Center (a non-profit corporation whose mission is to increase the number of underrepresented minority researchers in STEM). 9th grade students learned what it was like to work in a laboratory setting and how to design and carry out an experiment. Students presented projects to peers and staff.
