I am a Socio-Cultural and Visual Anthropologist, as well as a Cultural Studies Scholar.
I am trained in the four fields of anthropology, as well as completing 74 units in cultural studies and earning a certificate in Africana Studies. I teach courses in all four fields of anthropology. Pedagogically I place a major focus on student success, incorporating lessons in reading, writing, and study skills into the curriculum of all of my classes along side the core course concepts. Race, racism, and diversity are a major focus in all of my classes as well.
