I am an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Montevallo, Alabama's only public liberal arts college. I am currently teaching Renaissance Poetry, British and American Literature I, and Honors Global Literature: Utopian Literature.

I earned my PhD in English at Boston College, where I specialized in Early Modern and Restoration drama.

My dissertation, Spatial Dramaturgy and Domestic Control in Early a Modern Drama, explores the interplay between 17th century architectural developments and space in early modern theater.
