Awful

Professor Troutt does not help you with materials to properly prepare you for the midterm or final exam. The workload is very heavy, almost like she wants you to ignore your other classes and focus just on hers. I would advise anyone to avoid taking a course with her. I don't know why she makes all her courses so difficult, even the first year ones. It is ridiculous.

I found Professor Troutt to be very passionate and inspirational, I enjoyed her class. She does expect a lot out of students, including a large amount of reading. I found that is was critical to keep up with the course material. Barely any students completed the midterm exams in time, they were beasts. But the final exam I felt was very fair.
