As a lifelong learner, I love to learn and analyze new things; and perhaps even more, I love to share and pass along what I learn, always in the hopes that it beneficially educates, encourages, and empower the hearers to live a healthier, fuller life.

I am an analytical, careful, and critical thinker, and I love to find the connections between the things I'm learning (and/or the connections to the things I already know), which I am able to do by being very detail-oriented and yet able to maintain a view of the big picture. This has come to full fruition in my experience and skill as a researcher. I enjoy crunching numbers and calculating results, but, more than that, I love interpreting those results, putting them in the context of previous findings and generating meaningful, enlightened, and helpful conclusions and applications.

I particularly enjoy and am good at engaging in this research process (data analysis and interpretation) via the written medium. I love to put things together in a way that tells a story that educates, encourages, and empowers people. More than that, I simply love to write, and I feel that I communicate most clearly and am being most true to myself when writing.

Fitness is something I am passionate about and has long been a hobby, but it has also become a profession since joining the Life Time team as a group fitness instructor. It combines my love for and skill in fitness with my passions as a learner and teacher (to educate, encourage, and empower) in a way that gives back to an industry that has given so much to me, all the while inspiring and empowering people to be healthier versions of themselves. It might be a job, but it feels more like the fulfillment of a calling.
