Awful

Worst class. Smyth should not teach. We had no background in the subject. She had no syllabus. She gave quizzes. Smyth would not provide instructions. She was rude if we asked questions.

Awesome

If you're a geology major, Prof. Smyth's lectures are interesting. If you aren't, it could be boring though. He gives quizzes after every chapter but he also drops the lowest two. Studying is easy because midterm and final are based off of the quizzes. He only gives four tests in lab which are pretty easy. He also gives extra credit for lecture but not for lab.
