Awful

I had Prof Johnston last semester. He didn't review the correct material before the exams. He is a harsh grader, the class average was a 50 curved to something in the low 70's. He does not explain things well and his teaching methods make things difficult. He doesn't stop to answer questions, you will always be lost.

Since it's a required course I took the linear programming even though it had a bad reputation. The grading had me nervous however he made everything easy to understand. The grading policy was very forgiving even though his test were tough. Professor Johnson was amazing, I would definitely take him again, however it's definitely not easy to get an A.
