Burbulla has lots of office hours available and he is always available to meet with students. Some students think that he sounds mean, but I think that it is just his manner when he may get overwhelmed. In class, he reads off the slides and even will get confused with his own lecture notes. He does expect you to memorize ALL classic proofs and he will actually test you on those.

For MAT188, Prof. Burbulla's lectures were really good. He made everything easier for us to understand. His notes were very helpful and clear. He's a great teacher. However, when answering questions, he could be quite abrasive and not helpful at all.
