I had Professor Dianne for Environmental Politics at the Loyola Chicago and it was easy to see that she really cared about her students and their success. The grading criteria is very clear. The class could be boring sometimes and it wasn't my favorite style of teaching. She didn't use the text book much, you probably don't need it. Attendance is mandatory and a huge part of the grade.
