She does not teach very much. Professor is EXTREMELY anal and nit picky. If you are interested in English as a career she may be the professor for you. I took Diane's online class for English 2.

This online class of Dr. Grote started off as what seemed like an easy A, but then we got smacked in the face with the last two essays which ranged from 9-11 pages all the way to 15-20 pages or more! These stories are based off of short stories that you select which are 4-8 page reads. She will provide the framework but the course content is totally up to you. Not very helpful.

Professor Whitley-Grote was awesome! I'd get a thorough grade and answer the next morning after handing in an assignment the night before. She gave excellent feedback and pushed you to work hard for a good grade. There are six essays in total, each of which grows in length but is still manageable. 10/10 would recommend her class!

Professor Grote is fantastic. I took her course online. So, the communication was a bit more difficult. However, she responded to emails quickly and clearly. Also, she provided excellent feedback on the essays. Although, you have to put in effort in her class. I'm not complaining since this is really what college should be. Definitely, I would take her class again.
