    Dr. Coyle was honored as the \"2012 Educational Business Partner of the Year\" by the Hillsborough County Association of School Administrators (HASA). She was honored for her promotion of leadership development and scholarship opportunities for the members.

    Dr. Deborah Coyle was raised and educated in Hillsborough County. She earned her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University.\n\nDeborah was employed by the Hillsborough County School District for 32 years. She served as an elementary principal for 26 years before retiring in January

    2010. She held the title as the \"youngest principal\" in the county when she was appointed to the position. She is considered an expert working with children “at risk” in urban education schools. In 2007

    Dr. Coyle was recognized by the State of Florida Department of Education as the Distinguished Administrator awarded for “Closing the Academic Achievement Gap” between minority and white children. In addition

    she was honored as Hillsborough County School District's “2007 National Distinguished Principal “.\n\nDr. Deborah Coyle has been working for Nova Southeastern University for the past 27 years

    serving the university in many different roles. Presently

    she teaches educational leadership courses at the master’s and doctoral level. In addition

    she coordinates these graduate programs at the NSU Tampa Educational Center.\n\nDeborah is very active in the Tampa Bay community and served as President of Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) Chapter #1133 for two years. Furthermore

    she served as a charter board of director’s member of the \"Carrollwood Cultural Center\" in North Tampa. Deborah is an active member of the Hillsborough Association of School Administrators. Twelve years ago

    she created a partnership between NSU and HASA to annually award educational leadership academic scholarships. These annual scholarships are still awarded. \n\nDr. Coyle has acquired a vast amount of effective leadership skills and practical methods through her years of on-the-job experiences and continuous education. She has made a difference as a leader in the work place and while serving in community organizations. Dr. Coyle is respected and recognized as an expert in the field of educational leadership.\n\n
