Prof. David only lectures a lot. Nothing else aside from this. He would think that you aren't paying attention if your hand isn't constantly moving. He's a funny guy and he clearly knows what he's talking about, but his tests are really hard! He gives 3 tests and one paper. Don't plan on taking this if you aren't 100% ready to commit. I actually studied every single night and still struggled for a B+.
