Professor Schwartz is a great Church History teacher. Weekly readings are reasonable and connect well to the lectures. Make sure you take notes and show up for lecture. If you pay attention you'll be fine. If you are happy with your grade, he'll make the final optional. Also the midterm is easy. He does not worry about testing over small details.

Doctor Schwartz is the best professor! I loved class with him! He does rely heavily on the primary sources, but as long as you do the reading responses and pay attention, then you will do very well. He genuinely wants his students to do good.
