Poor

Professor Felt's class is pretty rough. There's a lot of reading to keep up with and many papers on top of that. Also, lots of tests and very frequently iclicker quizzes. You may succeed in this class, if you'll just take a lot of time and hard work to keep up with constant readings and flow of tests and papers. On the brighter side, he's enthusiastic about history.

Poor

This class had four HUGE textbooks and HUGE readings every class. You have to know all of it for pop quizzes during class and tests, even though he really only lectures from one of the books. The papers were pretty simple but they were graded harshly in my opinion. You can see that Professor Felt loves history, but a general education class should not be competing with my major classes for time.

Awesome

Prof. Felt is amazing. You can tell that he's really passionate about teaching. Class is mostly focused on overall historical themes and patters rather than specific dates and events. As long as you pay attention in lectures, exams won't be difficult. There's a good chunk of reading which I only skimmed, but I still did well.

Awesome

I'm usually not passionate about history. However, Professor Felt helped me to love it this semester. He's the best professor I've ever taken a class from.
