I am Assistant Professor, Clinical Coordinator and Online Program Director in the Department of Diagnostic Medical Sonography at MCPHS University, an accredited, private institution focused on professional education in medical careers. In this role, I have developed the online bachelor’s completion program, student retention plans, and student assessments for the professional program. As well as supervised staff, faculty, adjunct faculty and matriculate students.

I have taught various courses through the Department of Medical Sonography General Ultrasound Program. I have established clinical affiliations through community outreach. In addition, I have provided vision, curriculum development, leadership, direction and expertise in support of faculty design.

Before joining MCPHS University, I worked for Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences (KPSHAS), as Program Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography. At Kaiser, I designed CAAHEP and JRC-DMS accredited Bachelor’s Degree programs and assisted with WASC regional accreditation.

I have had excellent experiences with education at MCPHS University, Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences and Cypress College and would like to apply my talents in contributing to a larger student population. I am completing my Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Higher Educational Leadership in May 2017.

I believe as an administrator working collaboratively with program directors, faculty and staff are crucial to meeting the educational goals of the college. A strong team facilitates community involvement and leads by example to the students, supporting education that is interdisciplinary. I believe that, as an administrator or instructor, it is my role to help my students prepare to succeed in the workforce. I also believe that I have a responsibility to help them learn how to learn to continue that success.
