Awful

Do not take Prof. Allen if you want to save your GPA. I actually barely passed because she's so confusing. She's totally insane. I experienced technical difficulties because she didn't open a link for me which is why I couldn't complete an assignment. And that one assignment brought my entire grade a letter down. She's very rude and she takes a long time to respond. I took her for 3WK.

Professor Montemayor - Allen's grading system is something I've never seen. Her instructions aren't the best. However, she's good at responding to emails. The course was not hard, it's an easy A. To be completely honest here, take another professor if you have a chance. But if it's the only option, you will survive though. In general, the course setup is very confusing from the start.

Professor Montemayor-Allen's class is great. She provided feedback on all my assignments and really helped me to improve. She wants all of her students to be successful. I really appreciated the time she spent in live chats to help me think about the different approaches and perspectives used in sociology. I can see the range of viewpoints more clearly now. I suggest you take her class.
