I honestly hate history, but Dr. Collins made this class so enjoyable. He's really caring and passionate about his students. He's slow, but he's understandable with the amount of students he has. Also, he responds quickly by email and is always there to help you along the way. Take him and you won't regret it.

I took him for HIST 037 class and he's really an amazing teacher! He's quick to answer back, and as long as you're doing the job, it's an easy A. You've got a lot of reading, but you've got videos too. I've never had a problem with his grading or any assignment. He does have you doing three reviews of essays that are easy because they come up with questions. At the SCC, he's my top choice.

Professor Collins was an amazing teacher. He made everything clear and easy. He's very helpful and will motivate you. If you miss an assignment, he will send you a message reminding you that you missed the deadline. However, he gives you an extra week to complete the work for full credit. This helped me a lot. Overall, this was the best online class that I've ever had.

Collins was required reading for an online course, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I gained a lot of knowledge. Multiple choice tests (on which we were allowed unlimited attempts), three academic journal article reviews, documentary analyses, and discussion boards were used to grade the students. When I missed to turn in an assignment on time, he was very understanding.

We have a very smooth online class with Professor Collins. He's an easy grader and provides clear instructions. You can easily work in advance in his class. His class consists of three two-page reviews of articles in the journal, several discussion posts, and assessments on short films. The answers to his quizzes are on Quizlet as well. Lots of extra credit opportunities were offered by him too. Moreover, you can do without reading the textbook, even though you need quotes from it. I highly recommend his class.
