Looking to transition into a career that allows me to think creatively, connect with others, and communicate effectively.

Experience

    Education

    • University at Buffalo

      MA

      English
My studies included in-depth concentrations in Nathaniel Hawthorne's romances and short works. My final MA project is published in Proquest thesis and dissertations. The partial title is "Romancing the Mind" where I look at the author's romances against one of his short stories as the basis for the argument. I aim to show his writing's similarity to cubist painting. The essay explores types of art in the piece as well as a character analysis that follows the photographic process. I completed my Masters degree in two semesters. Message me for the article's ID number

I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and winner of the OWL Award, an honor for Older, Wiser Learners. I was inducted and served on the committee for The Pinnacle Honor Society. The English Department awarded my efforts by electing me as the recipient for the Humanities Award in 2007. Not only did I study English literature, my efforts awarded me with a minor in Philosophy. My department allowed me to teach a 400 level course in Critical Theory as an internship in the spring semester of 2007. I taught part time as a contributing professor after graduating with my Masters in 2008.
