    Laboratory Researcher IV

During the years that I worked as a researcher at Rutgers University, I have had the great fortune to work on numerous high-profile projects including the quantification of levels of organic compounds in the dusts resulting from the World Trade Center tragedy, as well as doing PCB quantification in the waters of the Hudson River and surrounding waterways for the NYDEC as part of the monitoring program. I often draw upon these and other research experiences in my teaching which provides my students real-world situations to display the relevancy of the subject that they are studying.
