Dr. Oneal is one of the best professors I've had at Hunter College. Not only does she do an excellent job of making the content of the class enjoyable and easy to follow, but she's also very caring and understanding teacher. 10/10 would recommend this prof!

I took Professor O'Neal's class for Spring 2020 as a writing intensive course. She's very good and caring. Her class makes you read a lot but it's manageable. The class consists of five discussion boards, midterm and final paper only. The midterm and final are the only papers to do, which was a relief compared to other classes. If you listen to lectures, it will help with discussion board questions. She gives extra credit points as well.

Professor O'Neal was very passionate about black philosophy. She's very nice and doesn't ask too much. She responded to emails and her tasks weren't difficult at all. I would definitely take her class again.

Professor O'Neal is great and very understanding. She's very caring and her work is very easy to do as well. Her midterms and finals were very easy and very light. I loved how small our workload was. Her lectures were a bit boring. However, you can pass with an A, even not listening on her lectures. You just need you work to be done. Overall, she's worth taking.
