    I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Director of the Master of Public Administration Program at Auburn University. I teach undergraduate courses in state and local government and graduate courses in public policy

    As a teaching assistant I worked with undergraduate courses in Quantitative Research Methods and American Politics and Policy and a graduate course in Public Policy Methods. Specifically

    holding office hours and working individually with students.\n\nAs a research assistant

    I conducted research on state voting regulations

    race and turnout; and gender and access to technology. The work from this research resulted in several conference presentations

    published articles and books. One book stemming from this work

    Digital Citizenship: The Internet

    was published by the MIT Press in 2007.

    Managed the daily operations by providing general administration for the McNair Program. Recruited

    selected

    supervised and counseled students. Planed and coordinated the annual Summer Research Institute

    including meetings and seminars. Responsible for budget monitoring

    student records and grant writing. Prepared

    maintained and submitted annual program documentation to the U.S. Department of Education. Leadership of program unit and supervised the program assistant and graduate assistant. Promotion history: Summer Research Institute Coordinator (2008-2009)
