-Dr. Brenda Mahlum is the founder and owner of Aspire Fitness Physical Therapy which embraces the Rehab-Fitness Continuum.
-Dr. Mahlum was raised in North Carolina and graduated from Physical Therapy School at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She worked at The Sports Medicine Clinic in Seattle and then was recruited to start the PT Clinic at the Peak Health and Wellness Center in Missoula, MT. Following that, Brenda became a Clinical Faculty Member and Clinic Director at the University of MT PT School.
- She received her Doctorate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She was also an instructor in the Athletic Training Department, Health and Human Performance Department, Communicative Science and Disorders at University of MT. Brenda has been active in the profession of physical therapy as the Chairman of the PT Licensing Board and Chief Delegate for MT for the National Physical Therapy Association. Currently she is Federal Advocacy Liaison for the Montana Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Mahlum has been practicing for over 30 years in the Missoula Community and is a Board Certified Sports Specialist with advanced manual training including dry needling.
- Brenda is also a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist who has worked with athletes from recreational, collegiate and professional.

  • Clinical Utility of an Injury-Specific Psychological Survey for Long Term ACL Reconstruction Outcomes

    The purpose of the study was to examine the clinical utility of a psychological (fear-of reinjury) questionnaire compared to standard knee-specific outcome questionnaire for patients with anterior crucriate ligament reconstruction (ACLR).
