Professor Brenda is AMAZING!! I would recommend this class to anyone. She is a very nice and knowledgeable professor. She loves music and loves teaching it too. She is a great vocal and piano teacher as well. She is great and very intelligent.

Professor Goldfaden's class has lots of reading, but it's manageable. The written tests were a bit difficult. On the other hand, the oral exams were easy as long as you studied for them. I highly recommend that you go for extra credit on oral exams because it's easy to get. Just make sure you pay attention in class or you will get called out. The class was heavily lecture based and almost no class participation.
