However, I had a few wonderful instructors who encouraged me to continue my education and I ultimately received a PhD in English Rhetoric and Composition in 2010. Since then, I have enjoyed watching college students improve their writing and critical thinking skills. I have a passion for adult learners and first-generation college students.
