My research interests include accounting for income taxes, financial accounting and reporting, and empirical asset pricing and, more specifically, include consequences of tax avoidance activities, the market's assessment of tax-related information, and empirical assessments of earnings quality.

My teaching interests include corporate and partnership taxation, financial accounting (including financial statement analysis), and "Taxes & Business Strategy." I possess a wide range of teaching experience, having previously taught financial accounting, managerial accounting, and tax at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

I am also a Certified Public Accountant with 3+ years of experience at a Big Four accounting firm, where I focused primarily on accounting for income taxes (ASC 740).
