Awful

Professor Torrison never knows what is going on, but expects you to. She uses blackboard, but doesn't really how it works because it is very confusing for everyone, including herself. The papers and other assignments are due randomly even when they don't fit the lecture, which has NOTHING to do with what is even going on in class. I do not recommend her as a professor.

We had barely done anything in this class even though we were 5 weeks into the semester. Every single day, she only talks about random info that is senseless. She also gets off topic easily. She doesn't seem to know her stuff. You automatically get 50% taken off if one thing is wrong about your paper. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS CLASS.

Do not listen to all the negative reviews. She isn't the greatest with blackboard, as she herself admits in class. But as long as you're respectful and kind, she will reciprocate. She is very helpful when you go to her as well. She gave an extension with unexpected circumstances that I had with the final. The people who get a bad grade are the ones who don't ask for help.

Prof. Torrison was an amazing teacher and I'm actually surprised that people rated her so low. So far, she's my favorite teacher. She's such an amazing and knowledgeable person. She grades quickly as well.
