Awful

This is definitely one of the most difficult math classes I've ever taken! She covers a lot in one lecture. Most of the HW questions have 9 parts each which would take so much time to finish. Tests are very challenging because she doesn't allow the use of calculators. My final grade was 89.8% and she refused to give me an A.

The difficulty with Professor Wilborn is how many sections and chapters she covers every class. You have to be prepared to really spend time with a tutor because she will teach so fast. I am writing a review because I wish there had been more accurate reviews prior to my choosing this professor. One tip is to do the HW on your phone during class or else you will never catch up.

Professor Wilborn is structured and pleasant, but lacks compassion. She will cover a lot of material very quickly. There is a quiz at the start of every class and a take home quiz each week. People would complain about the amount of HW but she politely would deflect. The average on the first exam was a 64. It was not an enjoyable time. Do not take this professor if you are full-time or working.

Honestly, Professor Wilborn tries to give you every point possible in exams. It's a math class so you have to really try to learn. It's not something that you can just zone out on. Also, she's very open to help you with any questions, if you go to her math tutoring hours at the math study center. Truly, this helped me so much to pass the class.

I really wish I went through the reviews before I took Prof. Wilborn. She covers a lot of material really fast, so it's a struggle to keep up. Homework is tediously long because every single section of the chapter contains 15-20 qs. I wouldn't recommend her at all.

Please pay attention to this feedback! I wouldn't recommend her class because it's pretty disorganized. Her lectures are awful and she gives lots of homework. You'll regret taking her class!!!
