Review sentencing practices of the judiciary in Nevada. Studied and analyzed the impact of pretrial services, sentencing diversion, incarceration, and post-release supervision programs. The Sentencing Commission works to improve fairness in the state’s criminal justice system and reduce sentencing disparity. The Nevada Sentencing Commission was established by legislation in June 2017.
