Prof. Hatefi has a lot of field experience but he can't teach to save his life. I took him for Summer and he was very lenient due to the time constraints. However, you will have to self-study or rely on the curves. He's a horrible teacher but he gives easy audit exams if you fully understand ppts. He also takes attendance every class for points. Not for students who are unable to learn themselves.

Prof. Hatefi is a horrible teacher! 95% of the class actually walked out on him. The next class, he told us if we walk out again, he would drop whoever decides to leave. He also doesn't explain the subject at all. Then, he still has the audacity to say "dont fail my exam or it will make me look bad". Go for this if you're fine with teaching yourself alone.

Professor Hatefi is terrible. Do NOT take his class, Lots of people just straight up walked out after his daily quizzes, which is not surprising considering nobody can understand his bad English. He got upset over it but what do you expect? He stutters, mumbles, talks slowly, and his speaking isn't clear.
