    Professor Towns is an Assistant Professor of Culture and Communication at the University of Denver

    with a joint appointment in the Critical Theory Program in the Philosophy Department. He is increasingly interested in “Man’s” representation in both science and philosophy. This leads Professor Towns to examine the intersections between race

    sexuality

    class

    time

    and space. Thus

    his areas of study include

    post- and decolonial studies

    the philosophy and science of race
