With 15+ years experience as a higher education leader and organizational development professional, I'm known for designing holistic, cross-disciplinary strategies that address some of the most pressing challenges facing students and community members today through innovative approaches to programming, policy, and people.

What gets me out of bed in the morning is the challenge to build intentional, rich, and equitable integrative learning opportunities and environments that connect, engage, and inspire an ever-growing and diverse community of learners. Currently, I'm exploring new, more scalable and sustainable ways in which higher education can address emerging and persistent disparities in student well-being through
by reimagining the roles of curricular and co-curricular supports, spaces, and organizational dynamics in promoting student success.

- Launching, incubating and building capacity for contextually responsive, student-centered programming
- Designing and developing learning communities, systems, and supports that engage students to transcend their perceived academic potential

    Advise and form strategic data-driven programming, policy, and direction for Student and Academic Affairs (ASA). Using an integrative approach, facilitate role-agnostic ambassadorship of our work and cultivate grassroots cultural transformations to weave philosophies of resilience and compassion into existing programs, judiciously launch new programs, and embed our work into curricular and co-curricular spaces. Serve as a chief strategist across Academic and Student Affairs’ Division of Student Life, Graduate School, Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity, and Undergraduate Academic Affairs to develop coordinated academic support systems, analyses of student pathways and experiences, and policy recommendations for administrative and faculty governance. Design and develop new initiatives to foster well-being, including work on resilience and compassion.

    Designed, developed, and integrated Academic Support Programs (ASP) as a comprehensive and collaborative system that provides high-level academic support to the full range of UW undergraduates, from those who are academically disadvantaged to those who are advanced. As an extension of the directorship, engaged and drove diversity and inclusion, resilience, and retention efforts university-wide on behalf of Undergraduate Academic Affairs through a variety of cross-campus collaborations, including orchestration and oversight of the UW’s Resilience Lab. Secured budget expansion over seven fiscal years, despite university-wide budget cuts, and quadrupled the number of professional staff supporting the programs, whose current expansion phase includes the development of courses for and in support of English Language Learners (ELL) and international students.
