  including a professional performance of the play BIRTH

  a family fun day with vendors

  and a film screening. All of these events were successful fundraisers for the national nonprofit Improving Birth. In preparation for these events

  I solicited donations from local businesses; made a fundraising video; managed a social media marketing campaign that peeked with a reach of 4000; secured location permits and equipment; sent media alerts; interviewed with the media; designed

  and printed marketing materials and a playbook; interacted with the public as a representative of Improving Birth; and ultimately brought together parties with similar interests for a single charitable goal. I also helped write and disseminate the Improving Birth national newsletter using Constant Contact.\n

  I currently work on a contract basis for a medical and therapeutic research program that studies and teaches the effects of mindfulness-based behaviors on physical and mental health outcomes among physicians
