  As the Math Lab Coordinator I had the oversight of group study sessions for our two remedial Math courses. I broke these classes into groups of 3-5 students and assigned a tutor to each group. I created the materials to be used and also supervised the tutors who led these groups. I also taught one Math class per semester at the college level and would spend time providing academic support to students each week. All web and social media information about our learning center was created and managed by me.

  I oversee hiring

  scheduling and managing a team of about 30 student tutors and I supervise 1 professional staff member. I am responsible for coordinating all tutoring services on our campus. The main services we provide are Math and Writing assistance. In an effort to expand our services

  I set up study groups for various non-math courses based on student need/interest. I still prepare study group materials for remedial math courses. \nOther aspects of my current role include: \n-Training student workers\n-Providing academic support to college students\n-Efficiently managing the department budget \n-Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the efficiency of services we provide\n-Creating and maintaining promotional materials for the CLC\n-Managing social media sites for the CLC\n-Consulting with faculty regarding student help programs\n-Providing one-on-one appointments with students\n-Serving on the Student Support Committee
