Awesome
Caloiaro is an excellent English teacher. Etext will help you follow IEEE style guidelines. She will work with you if your can not get along with your group partners. Her TA ,Ryan Good, was a fast grader and gave great feedback. As long as you put in the effort, it's easy to get an A. Watch out for discussion due dates! She gives ample EC and revision opportunities.

I took this class online. You don't get to see the professor much as your grades mostly depend on your TA. However, he's really nice and often keeps in touch with the whole class through group emails. The way they grade might seem a bit silly. Overall, for a class you must take, the professor is doing a good job.

Gainesville, Florida
I hold a PhD in English from the University of Florida, where I currently teach as faculty of the University Writing Program. My specializations are divided between teaching and researching interdisciplinary writing, composition, and rhetoric, and 20th Century Irish and British literature, especially of the First World War. Before my current position, I held a Postdoctoral position here at the UWP, in addition to a Mentoring Fellowship wherein I worked with new composition instructors to teach undergraduate writing courses here at UF.
Since 2007, I have been fortunate to teach writing and literature at a number of institutions including Stetson University (through undergraduate training in English), Valencia College, Boston College, and the University of Florida, and at the two latter institutions on fellowship awards. My teaching experience covers upper-division writing courses like Writing in Medical Sciences and Professional Communication for Engineers, interdisciplinary special topics, composition, and grammar courses, developmental English and first-year writing seminars, surveys in British, American, and World literatures, and upper-division, 20th British literature. On prior fellowship, I was the lead instructor with a team of new graduate instructors as we develop ENC 1101 and 1102 at the University of Florida through co-teaching, creating curricula, and presentations on composition pedagogy. Now as UWP faculty, I hope to continue working with new instructors and developing new courses for UF's Writing Program.
